Vida's Policy

Thank you for choosing Vida! To better serve our clients and to optimize our availability, our policies have been
enforced and in effect since June of 2020. The time reserved for each appointment is both valuable and necessary to ensure the quality of service as our artists continue to strive for excellence. To reserve an appointment with your preferred stylist, our established guidelines are in place to protect both client and artist. Our policy allows us to optimize our availability, as well as give us an opportunity to accommodate another client in the event of an abrupt cancellation.

All Color, Corrective, Creative, Chemical & Specialty Services require a credit card at time of booking to reserve
your appointment. As a courtesy to current and future clients, all appointments and services to be rendered are sent a confirmation text and email 72 hours prior to scheduled appointment for true transparency. This gives each client an additional 24 hour window to cancel without charges. Should you wish to change the service or add on additional services to your original request, exceeding the original allotted time, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment. While we love spontaneity, we must be mindful of all our clients’ and stylists’ time.

We firmly believe in the value of your time and try to make a conscious effort to avoid long waiting periods in the
salon. Out of respect for our clientele, services for clients arriving more than 15 minutes late will be honored only at our salon's discretion and may need to be shortened in service or rescheduled.

Please understand when canceling appointments without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to
accommodate clients on our waiting list. As such, we kindly ask that any changes or cancellations be made no less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Abrupt cancellations under 48hrs will be subject to a fee of 25% of your scheduled service. If the cancellation is made under 24 hours or is a no show no call, you will be subject to a 50% charge of the scheduled service. We completely understand emergencies happen, and will take those into consideration on a case-by-case basis. However, we ask for your consideration and understanding of the financial hardship caused to our commission based artists when they are unable to take the opportunity to accommodate another client in your originally scheduled appointment slot. All fees are non refundable and cannot be transferred to any other future service in the event of a reschedule. In the event of a cancellation after hours or days we are closed, please leave a detailed voicemail. We receive day and time stamps for all voicemails and will be able to honor the cancellation time.
